Israel Aaron Cowart lead pastor

 A charismatic motivational speaker, preacher and teacher, Pastor Israel Aaron Cowart currently serves as Lead Pastor at Live Oak Church in Hinesville, Georgia. His original entrance into full-time ministry was to serve as the Media Ministries Director in 1997 at Live Oak under the ministry of his father, James Michael Cowart. Since then, God has opened doors and transformed Pastor Aaron's ministry with a mission of healing for the broken hearted, and unlocking the true potential of every beleiver, enabling them to maximize the anointing on their life. Pastor Aaron seeks to convey a message of hope and healing to a spiritually wounded world in need of a loving, and caring God. Through his own life experiences, Pastor Aaron has determined that God will qualify the anointed regardless of age, race, color, social status, or gender. Pastor Aaron is an Ordained Bishop in the worldwide denomination of the Church of God. He is the product of a pastor's home and has been heavily involved in ministry all of his life. Christi Cowart first lady

First Lady, Christi Cowart, is a powerful teacher in her own rights. Christi is an invaluable asset to her husband's ministry and works along side Pastor Aaron in their call at Live Oak. Knowing through her intimate fellowship with the Lord that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, Christi realizes the call on her life to serve the multi-cultural congregation at Live Oak. Through her role as First Lady, and Director of Ladies Ministries, she coordinates various events and ministries that have created a nucleus of sisterhood designed to empower women to develop spiritual and personal relationships through the transforming power of the holy spirit. ccowart@liveoakchurch.org

 

Kevin Kearney worship and arts pastor    

Pastor Kevin and his wife Rhonda have been serving the Live Oak Church since March 2007.  Both being raised in a pastor's home they realized at an early age what it meant to serve and love the Lord with your whole heart.  Upon accepting Christ early in life, Pastor Kevin begin to discover the gifts and callings within.  Through his personal walk he has allowed the Father to daily find a lodging place in his heart so that he may walk in the fullness of God's purpose and will for his life.   Pastor Kevin and his beautiful wife Rhonda have been married for 12 years and they have one daughter, Shadiah Grace. kearney@liveoakchurch.org 

 

Billie Ann Gaskin finance

Billie Ann has been actively involved in ministry at Live Oak for over 14 years.  Billie Ann has worked as a teacher for girls clubs, and also volunteered in the main office.  She is currently the Bookkeeper at Live Oak.    Billie Ann and her husband Byrum have been married for 22 years, they have two beautiful girls Taylor, and Kayla. bagaskin@liveoakchurch.org 

 

Dwayne and Sonya Golden director of children's ministries

Dwayne and Sonya have been working in the Children’s Ministry at Live Oak Church for over 14 years.  Their passion is to see children’s lives changed as they pursue Jesus Christ.  With the help of a dedicated ministry team, Dwayne and Sonya present the Bible in an exciting and relevant way.  Every child is presented with fun and interactive opportunities to learn about God and how to worship Him.
