Revelations 12:11 reminds us that we're made overcomers by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony.  Check out what some people are saying about how LOC has been a blessing to their life!

"Since coming to LOC our family has been greatly blessed in the preached and taught word. Our children are in love with the youth ministry (they think Pastor Jesse and Sister Michal are the bomb). The Lord has blessed us spiritually and financially, since we have been sowing seeds in this ministry. At one time we were living from pay check to pay check. We are paying off bills and being a blessing to the ministry more. We are endeavoring to be good stewards over what the Lord has blessed us with. We were sowing at our previous church, but it seemed as if we had holes in our pockets. It was our fault, we knew things were not being done according to scripture. Yet, I wanted to stay and my husband wanted to leave. After much prayer we left. We were only going to visit churches, but our kids fell in love with LOC. When teenagers come home from school without eating and head straight to church that is a good sign."

I was so blessed by the free cd that was given to my friend, it was your message on " How long is your Hem? " I just wanted to tell you, and the Pastor personally how blessed we have been the past month by everyone at LOC!"
July 18, 2009 - JH (FYI - JH and her family drive to LOC from Bluffton, SC every Sunday!)

"I just wanted to thank you both for doing the lessons on the Five Love Languages. We have missed sessions here and there but this morning I watched the video from last night. I think that it is really a wonderful thing that I can go back and watch something that I missed in "real time" I know I don't always pick up the cd's for whatever reason and so now I think that my husband and I both will benifit from feeling more connected with the church."

"I just wanted to take a minute and brag on the "Joseph House." My friend stopped in there yesterday for some help. She said, "Live Oak was the only church out of 7 churches that would help her out after her fire on Sunday." She said, "The people were so friendly and so helpful that they totally put her at ease. They did not make her feel uncomfortable or embarrassed in any way." Because of that ministry, her and her three kids will be coming to LOC on Sunday. Please let everybody involved know what a great ministry they truly offer and what a blessing they are to the community."

"Well, I just wanted to thank you again. Friday's prayer was so powerful...I was in tears the whole time! I know God has been speaking things to me and we've been going through a lot and it really is time to stop looking at what we're losing and just keep our eyes on Him as He brings the increase! Wow! I really don't have the words to thank you right now.  In itself, it is a miracle for me to be awake for prayer time. But God! ha! He changed my schedule and now I'm up for prayer even before my alarm goes off! That's a testimony in itself! And Friday I decided to go back to sleep after the lifeline prayer and God gave me this amazing encounter with Him while I was asleep! In it, I was warring and defeated an angel that was all dressed in white, he didn't even look dangerous or anything...After a while, I was taken into a court room where there was an open book on the podium and I laid my hand on this book and prayed for the laws being passed in the land and for those who are in charge of the law!"

"I must say that your childrens church is awesome. I have never been anywhere where my son has liked going to church every Sunday. He asks me if we are going to church sometimes. He brought one of his friends with him to church and now his friend always asks his mother if they are going to church. Many thanks to your staff in the childrens church for teaching my son in a way that he can learn and enjoy learning about Jesus. I really appreciate God for them and pray that God continues to bless the childrens ministry."

"We started attending LOC, and the first sermon Pastor preached was about how we can't just expect to live our life how we want,and that we can't just walk in to church and expect everything to be alright, then turn around walk out and continue down the same path, and the only time we turn to God is in our times of need,and then expect God to be there for us......That right there.. wow... At that very moment, I looked at my husband, and was sitting there with tears building up in my eyes. By the end of the service I had realized how I had to turn my life around, how I was ready to place my heart into God's hands..."
